Happy New Year's Eve!

Hello, friends, and Happy New Year’s Eve!  I have a brand-spanking new manicure for you today, courtesy of some lovely gifts I received for Christmas.

I decided on a very festive gold-on-gold ombre effect, which I copied via this awesome pin tutorial:

Here are the polishes:

For the base, I used this pretty little gold/bronze color from e.l.f. (Eyes Lips Face) which was given to me in my stocking (thanks, Jess!), then I added some sparkle to the “moons” of my nails with this gold glitter polish that I received in a set from Forever 21 (thanks, Nikkole and Philip!).  The Forever 21 polish set is full of really pretty gold and silver hues and glitters and I was really pleased with the quality of the polish itself considering Forever 21 is so inexpensive!  Check it out:

The ombre effect was actually really simple to pull off thanks to the Pinterest tutorial and I am sort of mesmerized by my own nails.  I have to stop myself from staring at them constantly haha!  Here is a close-up so you can see the effect better (plus, my “accent nail,” which I decided to cover entirely with the glitter instead of doing the ombre effect):

Well, my nails may be decked out, but I still have no idea what I am going to wear tonight, so I better hit my closet and see what I can come up with!  I will most likely be spending the night hanging out with the Boyfriend, family and friends at my sister’s house; do you have any special plans for New Year’s Eve??
