Hello, friends, Happy Valentine’s Day! I have had so much fun planning a whole week of Valentines-themed posts for this week and I can’t wait to share my V-day manicure with you today! I have to admit that I am pretty proud of my handy work (pun intended), so, without further ado, here it is:
I found this beautiful, bright, happy neon pink color at Target a few weeks ago when I was trying to decide on a nail design for Valentine’s Day; I knew this had to be it! Then, I found the best inspiration from super stylish blogger Piniel and her “Silver Hearts” nail DIY and – voila! – my Valentine’s Day manicure was born. First, the polishes:
I am wearing Milani Neon “Pink Rocks” with an unnamed Prisma bright red and my favorite Rimmel London “Glossy Pink” top coat.
The hearts were actually pretty simple to paint. I just used a dotting nail design tool (a metal stick with a little ball on the end) to make two dots which I dragged together to form a heart… if that makes sense haha! Anyway, here’s a close-up so you can see the hearts a little better. Also, as usual, I decided to paint an accent nail slightly different; in this case, my ring finger is solid red.
I am super excited for my date tonight with The Boyfriend, we are going to Medieval Times and I have never been; but, more on that tomorrow! I hope everyone has a Happy Valentine’s Day and, as always, thanks for reading! :)
Thanks for the shout out and I’m glad you found that post as an inspiration.

You’re welcome! I loved your manicure and I was so excited to try it myself, thanks for sharing! :)
I like that the hearts are in the corner. It is a bit cuter than the huge heart manicures I`ve been seeing!
Thank you! That’s what I really liked about this design, too, which is why I decided I had to try it for Valentine’s Day! You should check out the original by Piniel (there’s a link in my post)! :)
I think I will. It`s a great idea to shake things up, and orange is certainly different!
Sorry, I didn`t mean orange. Oh auto-correct! I meant that I like the detail, basically.
Haha no worries, yes it’s always fun to try something new! :)
